Beas Kund Trek:

Bakarthach and Dhundhi are the two grasslands that lie on the way to trek. Most of the time these grasslands can be seen filled with grazing sheep and bovine. The Beas Kund branches out into a few streams that finally converge to the Beas River.

Here is an interesting fact about Beas Kund – it is believed that the author of the great Indian epic Mahabharata, Maharshi Vyas used to take a daily bath at this remarkable kund. The Pin Parvati trek covers the spectacular Parvati Valley and unusual Buddhist villages.  As you climb up following the trails the bird’s-eye view of The Parvati Valley becomes spectacular. Now come to the best part of this trek, at the end of the summit, you will find hot water springs originating from Parvati Kund.

Taking a hot water bath at this place is a reward for the hardship of trekking. In winter it is excessively cold in the Spiti region, considering the same, for a pleasant trekking experience the months of June and July are suggested.

Lush green subtropical pine forests and high density of birdlife are the two primary features of Kareri Lake Trek. As you move along the trek, the freshwater Kareri Lake comes your way surrounded by alpine grasslands. This is a glacial lake that helps create a placid scene.
