Asher-Smith will contest the 100m against Jamaica’s four-time world champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and new American star Sha’Carri Richardson, the fastest woman this year.
Britain’s middle-distance star Laura Muir also competes as athletes seek to show their form in the run-up to the Tokyo Olympics in front of a possible crowd of 2,000 spectators.
Rio 2016 silver medallist Andre de Grasse of Canada takes on Britain’s Adam Gemili and in-form American Kenny Bednarek over 200m.
World record holder Mondo Duplantis of Sweden will take on American world champion Sam Kendricks and Poland’s Piotr Lisek in the pole vault, the trio having finished one-two-three at the 2019 World Championships in Doha.

The meeting was originally scheduled to take place in Rabat, Morocco, but was relocated to the North East of England because of the coronavirus pandemic.
